Growing customer demand has led to the expansion of Transmec UK’s special projects division to its Redditch depot.

Focusing on equipment delivery and installation, the expert team serves a wide range of clients. They include ice cream machine maker Carpigiani and leading fitness brands Technogym and Wattbike.

The move extends Transmec’s UK coverage with the new Redditch team serving the west of the country, while the south and north are covered by the West Thurrock and Bradford depots respectively.

Paul Priestley, who heads the division, said: “We’re extremely busy so it’s great to have the Redditch team up and running. We’ve invested heavily in training and they are gaining experience very quickly.

“Our extended geographical coverage is good news for customers as is the growth of our back-office team. Both developments enable us to maximise our efficiency and continue to provide the responsive service that our customers value.”
