Dublin Airport’s expansion plans could involve the reuse of Heathrow Airport and its logistic hub.

Bosses of Heathrow Airport are currently in the process of concluding the results of winning bids for its offsite construction and logistic hubs. The offsite construction and logistics hubs could be the facility for Dublin’s expansion plans.

According to reports, four sites will ultimately be chosen out of a shortlist of 18, which will qualify whether they will be involved as components of expanding airports, or being used as an off-site warehouse for storing materials before being transported to Heathrow.

These 18 sites are located across the UK, and have been whittled down from a longer list of 65.
